All Because of a Pencil
I hate government. Honestly, it is the most boring class in the history of classes. And to make it worse, we had a test today. And of course I forgot to study—Just my luck. I think my teacher is a fury in disguise, trying to make my life as miserable as possible.
As if on cue she called, “Pull out a blank sheet of paper.”
And let the test begin.
That test was the worst forty-five minutes of my life. The entire thing was a mixture of clauses, articles, numbers and letters; I don’t remember any of it.
To ease my frustration I pulled out a piece of paper and started doodling. I must have spaced out, because the next
Leah smiled and tucked a strand of curly, bright red hair behind her ear. She turned the page of the photo album she was looking at, and this time laughed out loud. It was her and Michael on their first boating experience and the expressions on their faces were priceless. There's no way out of this mess
So I kill the engine, and fade
If I open the door to my heart
Will cold greet me instead of love?
Or will someone –anyone- care
Shielding my heart from the pain

"George?" Alanna asked, noticing he looked destracted. "Is everything alright?"
George looked over at Alanna, snapping back to attention. "Yes. Everything is fine." He said, putting on a charming smile. "Let's run through that last drill one more time."
Alanna went to throw a punch at
